The Venice of Hong Kong...

One of the other sites on Lantau Island (besides the big Buddha) is the small fishing village of Tai O, which I've seen referred to as the "Venice of Hong Kong." The reason it's sometimes called that is because a lot of houses are built on stilts right over the canal that goes through Tai O. That's probably where the similarities between Tai O and the Venice in Italy end though...
