| One of the main attractions on Lantau Island is the biggest outdoor Buddha in the world (it's over 110 feet tall). This almost replaces the Buddha on the blue dog at the 10,000 Buddha Monastery as my favorite Buddha, but not quite. Surrounding the big Buddha are statues offering gifts to the big Buddha. | |

| As you walk around the base of the big Buddha, you get great views of the southern part of the island, as well as the Po Lin Monastery, site of the big Buddha. | |
