We will be using two Creative Video Blaster WebCam II powered by a CPiA based controller chip. These cameras will identify the room number located on a plate outside each door.
The CPiA, or Color Processor Interface ASIC, was made by the company STMicroelectronics (formally the Scottish company VLSI Vision Ltd ). This controller chip is not in production anymore.
